I am a migrant woman and mother who has rebuilt a life grounded in strength, safety, and purpose after surviving family violence. My journey through complex systems from crisis response to recovery, shaped a deep understanding of the barriers many culturally diverse women face when seeking support.
Through NOOR, I use my voice to advocate for justice, equity, and culturally safe responses. I engage in media, community education, and system reform initiatives to ensure the lived experience of migrant women is seen, heard, and respected not just in services, but in policies, stories, and public conversations.
Resilience to me means speaking truth, standing in light, and walking alongside others who may still be finding their way forward.
