This webinar explores how social isolation during settlement can create emotional and economic insecurity. Through case studies and lived‑experience stories, participants will learn how community connection strengthens resilience, supports safety, and improves settlement outcomes. It examines how loss of family networks, cultural dislocation, and unfamiliar systems affect wellbeing and stability, and how prolonged isolation increases vulnerability, dependence, and reduced help‑seeking. Led by main speaker Maryanne, with two Noor members as panelists, the session highlights how strong social networks build resilience, safety, and access to support. Open to 100 participants, with a waitlist available.
