Lewching is a lived experience leader and survivor advocate whose work is grounded in her personal experience of fleeing family violence as a young migrant.
She has worked across state and national organisations to strengthen governance, strategy, peer workforce development and co-design through an intersectional and culturally informed lens. In 2024, she founded Project Chosen Family, a peer-led initiative supporting multicultural young people to heal from complex family relationships and reduce barriers to help-seeking. Lewching brings frontline experience across mental health, youth homelessness, wellbeing and DFSV sectors, and is committed to embedding lived expertise and culturally safe, person-led practice across
systems. She is also a member of NOOR’s survivor advocacy group.
