Paper – Family Law Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2023.
We are pleased to see the direction of these reforms, and the work to ensure the impact of family
violence is reflected in property law settlements, which can ultimately strengthen the family law
system. However, the success of the proposed reforms outlined in the Exposure Draft is highly
dependent on implementation in a system where all professionals are family violence informed.
