Donations to inTouch support programs from our inSpire initiative.

Working with women to rebuild their lives after family violence ends, inSpire programs help women to establish their independence, build their confidence and create a future of their own making.

What can your donation do?

Each and every inSpire project is specially designed to help women overcome the unique barriers they can face after experiencing family violence. Your donation could help a woman enter the workforce, build her social network, or strengthen relationships with her children.

Gift a micro-grant

Help women overcome financial barriers to training and education.

Fight social isolation

Help create safe spaces for women isolated by family violence to come together.

Sponsor a scholarship

Help children build confidence through participation in extracurricular activities.

Fund a workshop

Help women prepare to enter the workforce through targeted job readiness training.

100% of your tax-deductible donation helps fund programs from our inSpire initiative. To ensure your gift makes the greatest possible difference, donations are allocated to fund projects on a needs basis as determined by the inSpire team.

A little goes a long way

Every dollar you donate is a direct investment in the futures of women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

Ava’s Story

After escaping a violent relationship Ava* was excited to begin a new chapter in her life. But even with a tertiary qualification, her lack of employment experience in Australia repeatedly held her back.

‚ÄúEvery day I would go to a different suburb and walk up and down the street handing out my resume. I would have done any job, but no one ever called back. I felt so lost.‚ÄĚ

Through inSpire Ava* completed culturally informed pre-employment training, learning how to search for work, tailor her resume and cover letter, and practiced interview skills while learning about work culture in Australia.

‚ÄúBefore this, I didn‚Äôt feel good about my experience. I felt like it‚Äôs nothing. Doing this, matching the ads and keywords to my skills, that’s when the light-bulb popped. I knew I could do it.‚ÄĚ

After being accepted for a community outreach role earlier this year Ava* accessed an inSpire Mini-Grant to help cover the cost of her son’s childcare while she waited for her first paycheck.

‚ÄúKnowing he was safe meant I could focus on learning the job. I don‚Äôt have family here so it made a big difference.‚ÄĚ

As a result of COVID-19, work is scarcer, jobs are more competitive than ever, and the women we work with are often the most affected. Gift a donation today to help women like Ava* find meaningful employment and move past their experience of family violence.
