Your Gift, Her Journey Forward
Your donation to Her Future Fund makes a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of the women and children inTouch works with. Our programs and services have offered culturally informed, holistic support to migrant and refugee communities since 1984, giving our clients the foundation they need to move on from family violence and thrive.
Your donation will cover the cost of a woman’s attendance at an inSpire social event, tackling isolation and assisting her to forge new connections with other women who have had similar experiences.
Support the participation of a woman and her children in a cultural event with other families. Our inSpire program regularly holds cultural celebrations that our clients and their families can participate in. After experiences of family violence, events like Eid, Diwali and Christmas can feel lonely. Help us to connect families with each other to share meals, gifts and celebrate together.
Build the confidence and resilience of a young victim-survivor of family violence, through supporting their participation in healthy extracurricular activities such as soccer and dance.
For our clients, legal support is essential but expensive, even with the help of our free Women’s Legal Centre. For a donation of $330, you can help to cover the cost of a woman applying for divorce through our legal clinics, an essential step towards freedom and independence.
Support the financial independence and wellbeing of a victim-survivor beginning a new career in Australia by sponsoring her participation in our mentoring program. Here, she’ll learn to navigate the Australian job market, prepare for interviews and make career connections with the guidance of a bilingual and bicultural business mentor.
Your generous donation will cover the approximate cost of providing a migrant or refugee victim-survivor of family violence with the essential services of a migration agent. This service will support her in applying for a permanent residency visa with full working rights and access to social services and healthcare- allowing her to build a bright future of her own.
