Before joining inTouch, Tania served for five and a half years as CEO of Safe and Equal, the peak body for family and gender-based violence specialist organisations in Victoria. During her tenure, she guided the sector through significant growth and transformation, including the merger of Domestic Violence Victoria (DV Vic) and the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria (DVRCV) in 2021, and led strategic advocacy to advance a more integrated and sustainable system.

Tania has held senior leadership roles within the Victorian Government, including as CEO of the former Office for Prevention and Women’s Equality and as Executive Director for Multicultural Affairs, Social Cohesion and Equality within the Department of Premier and Cabinet. She has also worked with UN Women as a Policy Specialist in the Ending Violence Against Women Section, contributing to global policy initiatives, and with Victoria Police, where she led major reform programs addressing violence against women and children.

Throughout her career, Tania has been recognised for her ability to lead collaborative, evidence-informed, community-centred change. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for intouch as the organisation continues to champion culturally safe, intersectional responses to family violence and strengthen the leadership of migrant and refugee women in shaping a future free from violence.
