Professor Marie Segrave

Non-Executive Director

Marie Segrave is a Professor and an ARC Future Fellow in the School of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Melbourne.

Marie has previously been the Head of School of Social Sciences, at Monash University and has served in a range of leadership roles within and beyond academia across research and advocacy. Marie has researched and published widely on issues that sit at the intersection of migration law and policy, exploitation and abuse including human trafficking, modern slavery and domestic and family violence. She has worked closely on domestic and family violence and the impacts for temporary migrants in her work, alongside other major national and international studies that more broadly focused on women’s safety and security in the context of gendered violence.
