Appointment of CEO

inTouch announces the appointment of CEO Tania Farha.

The inTouch Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Farha as CEO following a competitive recruitment process conducted by Future Leadership.

Tania starts with inTouch on Monday 15 December.

Tania Farha has most recently been the CEO of Safe and Equal, the peak body for Victorian organisations that specialise in family and gender-based violence across the continuum, including primary prevention, early intervention, response and recovery. Previously, Tania has held executive positions across the Victorian Departments of Justice and Community Safety and Premier and Cabinet, including as CEO of the former Office of Prevention and Women’s Equality and Executive Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Tania worked at UN Women for over four years as a policy specialist in the Ending Violence Against Women Section and worked for Victoria Police for over nine years to improve its responses to family violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

With her extraordinary history of work in the family violence sector, her highly respected leadership and advocacy, and her lived experience as a woman of colour, Tania is ideally suited to lead inTouch in the exciting new chapter we are about to embark on. We look forward to welcoming and working with Tania.
