inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to champion migrant and refugee women experiencing family violence, through strategic and ethical leadership, acumen in policy and advocacy and a vision informed by the values of equity and justice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A trusted and inclusive leader, you draw on experience and knowledge to drive structural and systemic change to address the problem of family violence in our communities. You have the capability and understanding to lead a highly culturally diverse workforce, providing culturally responsive services through early intervention, crisis support and recovery.

You will lead the implementation of inTouch’s new strategic plan to extend our reach and impact in communities. As a respected leader, you demonstrate outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to work with a wide range of partners to facilitate critical dialogue and sector transformation. Essential to your success will be your strategic leadership, financial management and a track record of achieving significant outcomes for communities. Your experience includes effective engagement with boards and practice excellence in organisational governance and risk management.

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • Respect and centre the voices of migrant and refugee women experiencing family violence in building an effective advocacy platform.
  • Work in partnership with the board in pursuing agreed strategic objectives
  • Champion an environment where all staff are empowered to engage critically with leading practice and innovative client services, capacity building and advocacy programs.
  • Embed cultural humility and cultural safety as key organisational principles underpinning a service delivery culture that is client centred, responsive, impactful, and innovative.
  • Represent inTouch confidently, knowledgeably and energetically to stakeholders including government and other funding partners, peers in the Family Violence services sector, the media and the broader community.
  • Increase reach and impact by ensuring flourishing partnerships, encouraging investment that builds on our core strengths and capabilities and enabling adaptive practices that make the most of emerging opportunities.
  • Create high quality corporate support infrastructure to enable robust reflexive practice, meet existing compliance, reporting and risk management requirements and ensure accountability across all aspects of our work.
