FAMILY VIOLENCE NETWORK MEETING
Purpose of the network
The purpose of the family violence culturally and linguistically diverse network meetings is to build the capacity of those working with culturally and linguistically diverse women experiencing family violence.
We aim to support these workers identify and respond to the needs of culturally diverse women and families.
The network aims to do this through:
- sharing information about our relevant services and approaches
- showcasing approaches to culturally responsive practice
- strengthening relationships and partnerships between services providing family violence support to culturally and linguistically diverse clients
- identifying opportunities for collaboration.
Who can attend
All are welcome. We encourage those working with culturally and linguistically diverse women experiencing family violence to attend.
Please note that due to high demand, we will not be able to accept more than 2 staff per organisation.
How often the network meets
The network meets quarterly.
