Maryum is a strategic leader with deep experience building and managing teams and start-up organisations to deliver and actualise social impact.

Maryum has more than 15 years of experience in positions of leadership, program management, strategic stakeholder engagement and fundraising to innovatively refine and address dynamic and complex public policy challenges.

She is a passionate leader driven by building coalitions to strengthen communities and build purposeful connections.

Maryum is the Deputy Chair of Centre for Muslim Wellbeing. Her board and community roles have ranged from Women’s Legal Service of Victoria, Victorian Multicultural Commission, Islamic Council of Victoria, Fund Advisory Committee (Inner North Community Foundation), Multicultural Museums Victoria to AFL Multicultural Community Ambassador.

She holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University and an Executive Master of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
